Abstract

In this paper the Hxnorm approximation of a given stable, proper, rational transfer functionby a constant matrix is considered (Zer-oth order Hxnorm approximation problem). The solution method is basedon the observation that the norm approximation problem can be put into an allpass imbedding problem.
