Abstract
Biomass has been utilized as a fuel for centuries, ever since humanity began burning wood to keep warm and cook food. Combustible renеwablеs and waste supply accounted for about 9.3% (1327.13 Mtoe) of the world’s primary energy source in 2018. In 2020, forest covered around 4,060,000×103 ha of the earth’s surface. This study presents a review of biomass resources and production of biofuеl on global scale.
