Abstract

This paper presents a study of the simulation of aerospace plane trajectory and variables, using a spreadsheet program. The study consider the heat minimization using aerodynamic and thrust control. A Lotus 1-2-3 spreadsheet program is used to successfully uncover the performance of the ascending hypersonic trajectories, heat load, heat rate, and flight path angle for transatmospheric vehicles.
