Abstract
The article discusses the importance of the Internet in the construction industry. It then explains the concept of project specific web sites (PSWS). In order to get a closer look at the use of project webs in construction firms, a survey of 100 typical project webs was conducted. The data was then statistically analyzed. The results were studied to reveal the information elements that construction firms were using in order to enhance the information management within and outside their firms. Finally, guidelines are presented for effective project web designing.
