Abstract
A numerical transient temperature analysis of a multiple carbon/carbon aircraft disc brake system is obtained using temperature dependent thermo-physical properties. Convective type boundary conditions are used. The maximum temperatures are found to occur around the middle disc and between the mid and outer radiuses of discs.
