Abstract

We calculate the positions of nodes and the low energy density of states in the superconductor PrOs4 Sb12 using a symmetry-based approach. We assume a three component order parameter in the triplet channel. Because of broken time-reversal symmetry, the gap function is non-degenerate. Nodes in the lowest energy branch of the gap function lead to a quadratic behaviour in the density of states. Crown
