This chapter explores the transformative impact of technological advancements on tourism, with a focus on cyborg tourism and its potential implications for tourists, particularly those with disabilities. It delves into the intersection of tourism and technology, highlighting how wearable devices, augmented reality, and technological implants are shaping the future of travel. The rise of cyborg tourism, which involves enhancing human capabilities through technology, aligns with the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the shift toward Tourism 4.0. This chapter also examines the expectations of potential cyborg tourists and explores how transhumanism and technological innovations can create more accessible tourism experiences.
