Abstract

This chapter presents the main components of the baseline system that was used to test the knowledge-based proposed method. The Arabic speech corpus, Arabic phoneme set, Arabic language model, and Arabic pronunciation dictionary are described. The chapter also provides the details of how to build each one of these Arabic automatic speech recognition (AASR) components.
