Abstract
The realization of a long-term durable superhydrophobic coating could reduce the problems associated with Mg alloys’ feeble aqueous corrosion resistance. The present chapter delivers a concise account of various strategies reported for engineering superhydrophobic coatings on Mg alloys. The anti-corrosion characteristics and long-term durability are highlighted.
