Abstract
The 1H and 13C NMR spectra were assigned for a series of O‐carbamoyloximes of ortho‐ and para‐substituted benzaldehyde. These compounds exist exclusively in the E configuration. The aromatic protons and carbons show correlations with the appropriate substituent‐induced shifts and with Hammett parameters.
