Abstract

The reaction between unlabeled and labeled 13CN- with aurothioglucose (Autg) have been studied by using 13C NMR spectroscopy. The tg-Au-CN- species was detected only when labeled 13CN- was used for the reaction. When the Autg:CN ratio of 1:2 was reached only the Au(CN)2- product was detected.
