Abstract

The reaction between unlabeled and labeled ¹³CN^- with aurothioglucose (Autg) have been studied by using ¹³C NMR spectroscopy. The tg-Au-CN^- species was detected only when labeled ¹³CN^- was used for the reaction. When the Autg:CN ratio of 1:2 was reached only the Au(CN)₂^- product was detected.
