Abstract

We have made an exploratory experiment studying the ³He+ ³He → ⁶Li* + π⁺ reaction very close to threshold. The measurement was done at the CELSIUS storage ring. The ⁶Li ions were detected in a zero-degree spectrometer equipped with solid state detectors.
