Abstract
Thin blown samples of copper (35 mol. %), calcium (65 mol. %), phosphate glasses containing some 5 mol. % of added CuI are studied as two state memory switches. The addition of iodine to the oxide glass and the use of an annealing treatment lead to devices of improved stability and reproducibility.
