Abstract

Elastic scattering of polarized protons at the Erlangen 12 MeV Tandem accelerator from 142Nd was used to assign spins to p-, f- and h-wave states in 143Nd. The polarization data are in close agreement to a parametrized type of analysis applied to earlier cross section measurements.
