Abstract
The stratigraphy and planktonic foraminifera of the Wasia Group (Early-Middle Createceous) in Kuwait is discussed. The Wasia Group includes seven formations which are (in ascending order): Zubair, Shu'aiba, Burgan, Maudud, Wara, Ahmadi and Magwa. Eighteen species of the planktonic foraminifera have been recorded and used in subdividing the penetrated succession into five biostratigraphic zones.-Authors
