Abstract

Closed-form expressions for the current components in a semiconductor p-n junction excited by a number of sinusoids were derived. The expressions obtained are quite general and simple and can be easily used to analyse the effect of p-n junction parameters and externally series-connected resistances on the amplitude of any output current component.
