Abstract
Economic utilization of the solar heat income requires, among other things, an accurate estimation of the amounts of incident solar radiation. These amounts are now being affected, sometimes appreciably, in different areas of the world by man-made atmospheric contaminants. The present investigation is one of a series of studies aiming at estimating the depletion, in the incoming direct solar radiation, caused by such contaminants.
