Abstract
Several seismic profiles recorded by the OGS in the Ross Sea (Antarctica) have been processed and interpreted. Attenuation of the strong multiple reflection due to the frozen sea bottom, and affecting the seismic records, is the primary objective of this study. Various processing techniques were applied to improve the signal/noise ratio, such as weighted stack and iterated pre-stack f-k domain filtering, and the results obtained are reported and discussed. Furthermore, a new technique is introduced: pre-stack f-x deconvolution. -Authors
