Abstract
An efficient heterogeneous lead sulfide-gold catalyst has been successfully developed for the synthesis of propargylic amines via a three-component coupling reaction of aldehyde, amine and alkyne in water. The process is simple and applicable to a diverse range of aromatic and aliphatic alde hydes, amines and alkynes. Furthermore, the catalyst is stable to air and water, and can be easily recovered and reused.
