Abstract

A nonlinear control synthesis method is described. It extends and generalizes earlier work and establishes connections with prior linear theory and concepts of local response, synthesis and controller matrices. The ideas are chosen to be compatible with practice in aircraft turbine control and to illustrate the viewpoint of a major type of application thinking.
