Abstract

Electromagnetic fields in the presence of a particular conducting cylindrical geometry are investigated. The cross section of the geometry is an area enclosed by two circular arcs of arbitrary radius which varies from a circle to a single circular arc. An integral equation for the induced current on the surface of the geometry is obtained and the total and scattered field patterns are computed.
