Abstract

Independent interaction between social networks and the Internet of Things (IoT) is a budding, flexible sector leading to an advantageous Social Internet of Things (SIoT) paradigm. It provides a platform for globally interconnected items to engage with one another and build social relationships in order to give better services to users. One of the main purposes of this study is to offer a comprehensive understanding of SIoT and recent works in this field. Again, Society 5.0 is the concept that imagines a highly developed and technologically integrated society where various technologies, including the Internet of Things (IoT) are harnessed to address societal concerns and improve the general quality of life. The Social Internet of Things plays a crucial role in the implementation of Society 5.0 through technology to foster a more interconnected, inclusive, and socially conscious society. It transforms numerous industries, improves teamwork, and gives people the power to actively participate in reshaping their neighborhoods and the entire planet. This article focuses on SIoT architecture, relationship management, the role of humans in the SIoT system, and the role of trust in SIoT and the SIoT-based super smart society, or Society 5.0.
