Two types of control algorithms are designed and compared: first a conventional control system based on the Proportional Integral derivative (PID) controller is used for stability and control augmentation, and then a robust formation controller is designed to minimize the effect of disturbances and un-modeled dynamics. Both controllers are then compared for their performance under disturbance conditions.",
