Abstract
The Editor retracts “Effective Disposal of Methylene Blue and Bactericidal Benefits of Using GO-Doped MnO2 Nanorods Synthesized through One-Pot Synthesis” (DOI:10.1021/acsomega.1c03723) due to a pattern of inappropriate image reuse, irregularities in the data and analysis presented, and concerns relating to the accountability for the research. This pattern of issues across several related articles calls into question the reliability of all of the following publications, DOIs: 10.1021/acsomega.2c02790, 10.1021/acsomega.2c04650, 10.1021/acsomega.2c00583, 10.1021/acsomega.1c03723, 10.1021/acsomega.2c00240, and 10.1021/acsomega. 2c05625. In this article, Figure 4A is duplicated in Figure 4B of 10.1021/acsomega.2c00583 and Figure 1C is duplicated in Figure 2D of 10.1021/acsomega.2c00583. For the latter, the indexing between the images references the same spots as different planes. The original article was published on September 20, 2021, and was retracted on November 24, 2025.
