Abstract
This article has been retracted: please see Elsevier policy on article withdrawal (https://www.elsevier.com/about/policies-and-standards/article-withdrawal). This article has been retracted at the request of the Editor. Post-publication, an investigation conducted on behalf of the journal by Elsevier's Research Integrity & Publishing Ethics team identified a concern around the authenticity of the following figures/image panels: - Fig. 1. (XRD pattern of all synthesized materials.) appears to show visual indicators of possible unequal application of image processing techniques in the four panels depicting Pr-MOF/Fe2O3 (blue lines), Pr-MOF (pink lines) and Fe2O3 (green lines). - Fig. 3. (FTIR analysis of all synthesized materials.) appears to show visual indicators of possible unequal application of image processing techniques in the three panels depicting Pr-MOF/Fe2O3 (blue lines), Pr-MOF (pink lines) and Fe2O3 (green lines). The authors were requested to provide comment on these concerns, as well as the original unprocessed image files to aid investigation. It was felt that the explanation and data provided were unsatisfactory in resolving these concerns. The Editor has lost confidence in the results and conclusions of the article and has determined it should be retracted.
