Retraction notice to “Road urban planning sustainability based on remote sensing and satellite dataset: A review”(Heliyon, (2024), 10, 21, (e39567), (S2405844024155983), 10.1016/j.heliyon.2024.e39567)

This article has been retracted at the request of the Editor. Post-publication, an investigation conducted by Elsevier's Research Integrity & Publishing Ethics team on behalf of the journal identified references that are irrelevant to the article. The authors were asked to comment upon the presence of these references in their work but were unable to satisfactorily address the reason for the references. Additionally, the investigation found phrases that make some passages in the article difficult to parse because they deviate from standard technical terms. The authors were requested to explain the use of these passages of text but their explanations did not resolve the concerns of the editor. Consequently, the editor has lost confidence in the results and conclusions of the article and has determined it should be retracted. Apologies are offered to readers of the journal that this was not detected during the submission process. The authors disagree with retraction and dispute the grounds for it.
