Abstract

This article has been retracted: please see Elsevier policy on Article Correction, Retraction and Removal (https://www.elsevier.com/about/policies-and-standards/article-withdrawal). This article has been retracted at the request of the Editor. An investigation conducted on behalf of the journal by Elsevier's Research Integrity & Publishing Ethics team found phrases that make some passages in the article difficult to parse because they deviate from standard technical terms. The authors were requested to explain the use of these passages but the explanation provided was not deemed satisfactory by the Editor to explain the presence of those phrases. Additionally, the investigation found a significant increase of citations to papers published by the authors, Mehboob Ali and Waqar Azeem Khan, between the original submission and the revised version of this article. In summary, 1 paper by the authors was cited in the original version of the article. This increased to 13 and 14 papers, respectively, in the revised version of the article. Furthermore, the investigation has determined that the authors were requested by 2 of the reviewers to insert irrelevant references to their paper during the peer-review process. The Editor has lost confidence in the results and conclusions of the article and has determined it should be retracted.
