Abstract
This paper describes interaction of clay with a polyelectrolyte. Because of the formation of polymer-clay interacted product it was possible to produce bricks, roofing tiles without any firing or baking. The mechanical properties of such products were excellent but the water resistance was only marginal. The water resistance was improved by incorporation of minor amounts of wax.
