Abstract

The bioplastic industry is emerging continuously, the public awareness is a key factor in the flourishing of bioplastic products. The large consumption of bioplastics is generating a huge pile of waste material. It is very difficult to dispose of this waste material of bioplastic, moreover, the single-use consumption is not suitable for biomaterials. Hence, there is a great need to recycle the bioplastics in order to attain the maximum utilization of these bioplastics. The chapter discusses the overview of available bioplastics and emphasis on the need of the recycling of the bioplastics and associated economic and environmental advantages with recycling. It concisely narrates all the associated features of bioplastics as well.
