Abstract

Horizontal patterns of antennas near conducting towers of square and triangular cross sections are found by numerical evaluation of the integral equations for the induced currents. The computed patterns for moderate cross-sectional dimensions of the prisms and their distance from the antenna are presented and some similarities with the patterns of circular cylindrical towers are established.
