Abstract
Slot antennas are of considerable interest for applications as flush mounted antennas in spacecraft and aircraft. A particular type of slot antenna is a radial waveguide fed annular slot array. Such an array is formed by a set of cocentered slots etched on one side of a metal clad dielectric substrate of small height while the other side acts as ground plane. The purpose of this work is to demonstrate that the slot shapes could be made a parameter to achieve a desired radiation pattern.
