Abstract

This paper describes future trends and prospects in polymers and plastics, specifically new processes and new materials. Another objective is to briefly summarize some aspects of alternative raw material resources, environmental implications of plastics technology, fundings of research, and overall forecast for polymers and plastics during the next ten years.
