Abstract

The environmental friendly and renewability nature of PV Module has aroused the interest of researchers. The precise modelling of PV Module is mandatory before the installation part. However, the specific modelling is cumbersome as some parameters are not available in the manufacturer's specifications. Predator–Prey based firefly optimization algorithm is proposed and implemented to optimize the unknown values in PV Module non-linear equations by changing the curve at various environmental conditions. The achievement of proposed technique is analysed with the flower pollination and Jaya algorithm based on the convergence curve.
