Phase behavior prediction from a new pressure-dependent excess Gibbs energy model

Abstract

A new model for the excess Gibbs free energy in the NPT ensemble was recently proposed. The model accounts for the dependence of the excess Gibbs energy on pressure and temperature explicitly. The model prediction of the simulation data of model systems is presented. The application of this model to real mixtures is discussed with examples of phase behavior prediction at low and high pressures.
