Abstract

In this paper a recently introduced H_INF norm model reduction scheme is compared, in the H_INF norm sense, with the Hankel norm approximation scheme through examples. It is observed that the H_INF approximations method can be much better or, in some cases, comparable to the Hankel norm approximation scheme.
