Abstract

Cancer is a life-threatening disorder, which is rapidly spreading because of a sedentary lifestyle, diet, genetic influence, and environmental exposures. It is unlikely that the prevalence of this fatal disease will decline soon. In the modern era, one out of eight women is diagnosed with breast cancer. Cases of lung cancer increase as a result of smoking, whereas the risk of colon cancer increases with age. The significance of cancer treatment is increasing day by day. There are several treatment options, currently used to treat cancer, such as radiotherapy, immunotherapy, and surgery but chemotherapy is the most widely used method for cancer treatment. In the long run, it is intended to provide each cancer patient with a therapeutic regimen that is optimally suited to his particular disease and circumstances.
