Abstract
The parametric resonances of two coupled solitons in nonlocal nonlinear media in the presence of periodically varying intercomponent coupling coefficients are investigated analytically and numerically. The coupled equations of motion for the width and the center-of-mass coordinates of the solitons are derived. Resonant oscillations of the center of mass and width of the solitons are analyzed numerically. The splitting condition of the two solitons is also discussed. Theoretical predictions are confirmed by direct numerical simulations of the two coupled systems.
