N2 - Considering the problem that operating schedule of microgrid system with wind/photovoltaic/diesel/storage is not economic enough because of ignoring the efficiency-power characteristics of the large load especially the transferable load in the present stage, a wind/photovoltaic/ diesel/ thermal energy storage optimization strategy with considering transferable load efficiency was put forward in this paper. Firstly, taking the typical transferable load-the reverse osmosis desalination device as an example, a fresh water input-output model during the whole process was established, and the real time power efficiency characteristic curve was calculated. Accounting for the power characteristics of the reverse osmosis system, the battery life (using cost) and the working efficiency of the diesel engine, the energy control strategy of wind/photovoltaic/diesel/thermal storage system was optimized with the minimum operating cost as the objective. By comparing with two typical micro grid energy control schedules, simulation results show that the proposed strategy has a good economic advantage for various potential mixture of battery life and fuel cost with a constant supply demand of fresh water in a micro grid containing a transferable load. The paper provides a new perspective of optimizing the economic operation strategy of microgrid with transferable loads.
