Abstract

In this work, a new scheme for controlling a nonlinear industrial plant based on tabu-search algorithm is presented. Tabu-Search algorithm is used to find the optimal control signals during sample time, which minimize the error between desired output and actual output of the system. System is simulated online to find the optimal control signals. Tabu-Search algorithm is used with minimum possible number of population size, which ensures that it should complete search with in one sample time. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of presented approach.
