Abstract

A reformulation of the Levenberg-Yamaguchi second variation formula for the Robin function is presented. Then a new moving frame proof to the reformulation is given. This generalizes the Levenberg-Yamaguchi second variation formula to the smooth variation of domains in almost complex manifolds.
