Abstract
The generalized mixture of standard normal distribution and skew normal distributions (GMNSN) has been studied by Kumar and Anusree. Several properties such as the characteristic function, mean, variance, coefficient of skewness, etc were obtained. In this paper, we investigate this mixture model by providing the same properties and some additional properties using more well-known special functions and simpler moment expressions.
