Abstract

In this paper, neural networks are used in the identification of a demethanizer unit at a gas plant in Saudi Arabia. Data has been collected from the demethanizer unit using step testing and used in the identification process. Due to neural networks nonlinear mapping capabilities, the results show that neural networks approximate the real data closely.
