Abstract
A 99mTc-sulfur colloid study of the liver demonstrated an organ with a 'defect' in the porta hepatis region. Fluoroscopy and X-ray examinations showed the right hemidiaphragm to be paralyzed and elevated, with a gas buble beneath it. The suspicion that this was interposed colon was confirmed by a CT study. Thus, multiimaging modalities were employed in establishing the diagnosis of 'Chilaitidi's syndrome.'
