Abstract
The two primary masses in the three body problem are considered as oblate spheroids. The angular velocity of the rotating coordinate system attached to the primaries is proved to be larger than in the case of point mass primaries. The motion of the third body is disturbed by the oblateness of the primaries but a first integral slightly different than the Jacobi integral equation is obtainable. Motion of a spacecraft about the larger primary is also discussed when the second primary is totally neglected.
