Abstract
The authors present a robust algorithm for extracting the Cauchy interpolation coefficients in a multi-dimensional rational function modelling problem. The model extraction problem is formulated as a linear program, which is efficiently solved using the simplex method. The algorithm overcomes numerical errors in the electromagnetic simulations and rejects spurious solutions of the model. The novel algorithm is illustrated using a number of modelling problems.
