Abstract
Ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) spectra and scanning electron microscopy were used for investigating the synthesis of Co, Ni, and Fe nanoparticles by the effect of elastic wave pulses on solid phase samples containing polyethylene and polyacrylamide. A threshold character with the pressure in the elastic wave pulse was found to exist in the product yield for the nanoparticles formation. Around 20 kbar of pressure in the elastic wave pulses was present in the amount of Co, Ni, and Fe nanoparticles. The stability of metal nanoparticles to oxidation was increased by the presence of polyacrylamide in reaction composites by two orders of magnitude.
