Abstract

Magnetic nanofluids have gained significant attention in recent years due to their unique properties and potential applications in various fields. This review paper provides an in-depth analysis of the utilization of magnetic nanofluids in thermal applications. Article presents a comprehensive overview of the various synthesis methods of magnetic nanofluids and key properties of magnetic nanofluids. The thermal stability of magnetic nanofluids is also highlighted in this review. Additionally, various thermal applications of magnetic nanofluids, such as cooling systems, heat exchangers, and thermal energy storage, solar systems are explored along with their potential benefits and challenges. Finally, future research directions and prospects for magnetic nanofluids in thermal applications are highlighted.
