Abstract

Magnetic energy loss obtained from the area of hysteresis loop (at 4.2 K) of YBa2Cu3Ox polycrystallines in Zero Field Cooled state for different oxygen contents (x). The energy loss dependence on the maximum cycling field (up to 9 T) is presented. For different values of x, the energy losses exhibit an initial linear increase then gradually approach saturation at high fields. Upon varying the oxygen content x, the saturated energy loss curve observed to have a maximum at x=6.7.
