Abstract

Linear and Non-Linear Control Schemes play a pivotal role in the reliable and synchronized operation of Smart Grid (SG). In emerging SG, there is a pressing need for accommodation of Cloud Data Center based fast computational processing of advance control architecture, communication technologies, and Advanced Metering Infrastructure. The Future SG is highly nonlinear and complex electrical network system. The nonlinearity of SG demands implementation of nonlinear advance control schemes. This paper presents the different control schemes employed in SG and the problems resulting from their employment in SG.
