Abstract
We present a novel linear adjoint sensitivity analysis approach of the time-dependent Schrodinger equation. Regardless of the number of design parameters, the proposed approach estimates the sensitivities of a general objective function with respect to all the design parameters using only one extra system simulation. The efficiency of the approach is illustrated here through a numerical example.
